Our team will welcome you to the beauty and heritage of their home and help you explore their land. Excitement and adventure are offered at Oarsman's Bay Lodge every day of the year. You will make your Fijian adventure truly memorable by participating in our activities hosted by our fun and friendly staff at the Lodge.

Discover the mystery of the Sawa-i-Lau Caves, the rich ethnicity of the Island, the most magnificient beach in Fiji, enjoy the powdered white sand and swim in the protected and tranquil waters of the bay.

Go for a hiking trip and soak up awe-inspiring views or enjoy the soothing benefits of a local massage. Relax with a book on a hammock with nothing but the sounds of gently lapping waves to disturb you, or test your skills with those of your fellow guests in a friendly game of volleyball against our staff. Fiercely competitive and ferociously fun.

For a more spiritual experience you can join the congregation at the local church on Sunday or visit the village during the week and catch a glimpse of island life, or be part of a Fiji Lovo Dinner and immerse yourself in the culture and traditions of the Yasawan people.

Spectacular snorkeling and Scuba Diving experiences are available amongst the picturesque reefs. West Side Water Sports is a PADI International member and a well outfitted dive centre with a full range of Sea Quest. US Diver rental gear, located on Tavewa Island. Their two custom made NAIAD dive boats give quick access to the 20 dive sites available within a 10 mile radius of Tavewa Island and Oarsman's Bay. These sites offer a wide range of underwater topography to explore; walls, bommies, canyons, pinnacles and you can swim through waters decorated by colorful soft corals, sponges and sea fans.
